Firefighting Experience:
I am proud to have spent 8 years fighting wildfires around North America as a US Forest Service firefighter. I worked my first season as an engine crew member on the Toiyabe National Forest, Carson Ranger District in Woodfords, CA. I spent another season working for the Plumas National Forest, Greenville Ramger District on an initial attack, 10 person handcrew. I then joined the Lassen Hotshots in Susanville, CA for 4 seasons, where I worked as a sawyer and eventually as squad leader. I then moved on to the Pleasant Valley Hotshots, where I was a squad leader and module leader. Before becoming a year-round employee... I worked off seasons for Kirkwood Ski Area, North Tree Fire, Inc., San Jose Construction, Inc., Tom Hopkins Construction, Inc, and on various Tahoe construction projects.
